Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, Founder and President, of BOND Action, Inc.

"The American people have put their representatives on notice that they don't want government takeover of the health care system. Obamacare is not about reforming healthcare - it's about creeping socialism and limiting Americans' freedom. We need to keep turning out at the townhalls and communicating to Congress that Obamacare is un-American and we reject it! God Bless all of you, and even though I couldn't be there in person, I support the work of the Freedom Federation."

Deacon Keith Fournier, Editor-in-Chief of Catholic Online

"‘Relations between Christians are not aimed merely at mutual knowledge, common prayer and dialog. They presuppose and from now on call for every possible form of practical cooperation at all levels: pastoral, cultural and social, as well as that of witnessing to the Gospel message. Cooperation among all Christians vividly expresses that bond which already unites them, and it sets in clearer relief the features of Christ the Servant.'
These words were written by one of my champions, the late Servant of God John Paul II, in a letter entitled ‘May They Be One.' It has guided my own efforts to work with other Christians to expose and oppose what he rightly labeled the current ‘Culture of Death' which has infected our beloved Nation and replace it with a true ‘Culture of Life' and ‘Civilization of Love.' That is why I am honored to be a part of the Freedom Federation. We come from very diverse faith communities, backgrounds - and we certainly disagree not only on some theological positions but on some public policy issues. However, we have chosen to make common cause for the real common good at a critical hour in our Nation's history.
We agree together that the dignity of every human person from conception, throughout every age and stage of life up to natural death, is more than an issue, it is the very lens through which we must evaluate every policy consideration. We are Pro-Life, period. Mother Teresa reminded us that our first neighbors in the womb are the ‘poorest of the poor,' and we will never support any so called ‘Health Care Reform' which calls intentional abortion ‘health care.'

We know that marriage and the family founded upon it is not our idea, it is revealed in the Natural law which is written on every human heart. We have come together to defend marriage and the family founded upon it as the first society, first government, first economy, first church, first school and first mediating institution of any truly just society. Marriage and family must be respected, protected and defended.
We know that freedom brings with it an obligation to choose what is good and what is true - otherwise it can devolve into what John Paul, in his ‘Gospel of Life' called a counterfeit notion of freedom. We simply are not ‘free' to choose what is always wrong, such as the taking of innocent human life. We have come together to proclaim real freedom, including the vital importance of religious freedom, knowing that a robust debate in the public square is not a problem but a path to authentic progress in the Nation which we love. People of faith must always be welcomed into that Public Square.

I wish I could be there with you today, but prior commitments made it simply impossible. Be assured of my prayers, my solidarity and my willingness to work along with you on those matters which have forged our alliance. In an age characterized by rhetorical hype, we have made common cause for the real common good. Together we are committed to Real Hope. Real Change ...and Real Freedom."

Wendy Wright, President of Concerned Women for America:

"Doctors have earned patients' trust because they've taken an oath to ‘do no harm'. Politicians have lost Americans trust because their health care bill would harm unborn babies, the elderly and disabled. What this debate comes down to is people do not trust the government with their health care decisions."

Tony Perkins, President of Family Research Council Action:

"From TIME Magazine to the Associated Press to senior members of President Obama's own party, more and more leading legislators, commentators and policy analysts are acknowledging that taxpayers would, in fact, be paying for abortions under the Obama health insurance regime. Family Research Council will continue its campaign for a permanent prohibition on taxpayer-funded abortions and urge that conscience rights be preserved for doctors and nurses and other health care providers who refuse to perform or facilitate abortions. Until Congress resolves these overarching moral issues, we cannot have a true debate about the core ethical and moral obligation of ensuring all Americans have access to affordable health care, one we look forward to having."
Dr. Che Ahn, President of Harvest International Ministries:

"Without an explicit exclusion of abortion in the Health Care bill currently before Congress, this effectively mandates government-paid abortion. It violates the rights of those who choose life and refuse to support abortion in any way, and then uses our personal tax money to carry out the atrocity. For the thousands of people I represent, the pro-life coalitions I support, and the preborn who cannot speak for themselves, I direly urge rejection of such unconscionable legislation."
Rick Joyner, Co-Founder of MorningStar Ministries:

"The first test of King Solomon's wisdom was to discern between the mother who cared for life from the mother who was careless of it. This remains the first test of godly wisdom for government. Life and how we respect it is an ultimate issue and the ultimate morality. The fearless ones who resolutely stand for the respect of life are the true moral soul of the earth today."

Mathew Staver, Founder and Chairman of Liberty Counsel:

"Abortion is not health care and rushing the ill and aged to their grave is immoral. As a society treats the most vulnerable among us in the womb, it will similarly treat the aged and the ill. Any health care policy or proposal must not fund abortion and must protect those with debilitating or terminal illness and the elderly. Human life is sacred because we are made in the image of God and are endowed by our Creator with the inalienable right to life. Government must protect human life. Life, no matter how young, is not expendable and, no matter how ill or aged, is not to be weighed on a cost-benefit scale. Any health care policy that destroys our freedom and does not protect human life is unacceptable."
Johnny Hunter, DD, Director & Founder of Life Education and Resource Network (LEARN):

"If I knew that the cooks at a certain restaurant refuse to eat the meals they cook, I would not eat at that restaurant. What congress is cooking should be first taste tested by the senators and representatives who are trying to ram this bill down our throats. If they are not willing to go under the healthcare bill then neither should anyone else in America.
A recently released documentary, Maafa 21, shows which group of Americans are targeted by population control groups like Planned Parenthood for extinction. There are those of us in the Black community who know that the healthcare meal is being prepared to give abortion pushers access to the Black youth under the guise of "school-based health clinics" for the underserved. The "underserved" is a racial code word for the people who will be last in the rationing line for high quality medical treatment under their plan."

Rev. Samuel Rodriquez, President of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference:

"The current Health Care debate requires the faith community to serve as facilitators of a civil discourse while simultaneously defending life and freedom of conscious. For that matter, as an Evangelical and Hispanic, I understand that to millions of Americans the lack of health care coverage serves as the cause for great marital, financial and personal strain. In order to strengthen the American Family, we must fix the health care situation. Yet, the solution must stand under the canopy of righteousness and justice. While we must find a solution in providing health care to the uninsured, we must not permit any funding, directly or indirectly, via public or the allocation of funds to private health care providers for abortion procedures. Americans should not pay for any abortion procedure.

In addition, we must extrapolate from any health care bill anything, explicitly included or implied, defacto or dejure that creates an environment whereby our elders do not receive all that is necessary for the continuation of life. It is time that we, Christians, facilitate a platform for a conversation with respect and civility that at the end will address the health care reality of millions, defend biblical values of Life and Liberty and above all Honor the Almighty."

Rick Tyler, Founding Director of Renewing American Leadership:

"Renewing American Leadership (ReAL) is honored to stand with the millions of patriotic Americans who are deeply concerned about allowing the politicians in Washington to gain control over one-fifth of our economy and the life and death decisions about their health and the health of loved ones," said Rick Tyler, founding director, "ReAL is proud to be a member of the Freedom Federation, which intends to inform our coalitions about how this bill, if enacted into law, will take health care decisions away from individuals and their doctors and give them to a Washington-controlled federal bureaucracy."
