Korie Kapal is the Special Assistant to the President of the Florida Family Policy Council, which is associated with Focus on the Family. The FFPC is Florida's leading advocacy organization which works to protect and promote LIFE, MARRIAGE, FAMILY and LIBERTY. From its statewide office located in Orlando, Korie serves in a unique and strategic role by contributing to the development, messaging and administration of the organization. Korie played a key role on the staff in 2008 to help pass the historic Marriage Protection Amendment which defined marriage as the union of one man and one woman in Florida's state constitution.

Rena Lindevaldsen, Esq., is Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Associate Professor of Law, and Associate Director of Liberty Center for Law and Policy at Liberty University School of Law. She is the author of Only One Mommy: A Woman’s Battle for Her Life, Her Daughter, and Her Freedom: The Lisa Miller Story, which offers a first-hand account of how people are lured into believing they are born “gay” and cannot change. As a result of that belief, they make life choices that have devastating consequences for our children, families, and freedoms. Rena has written this book based on her first-hand experience as Lisa Miller’s attorney, as well as on her defense of traditional marriage and family in courts throughout the nation. She offers truth to those struggling with homosexuality, encourages churches to minister to those caught in the lifestyle, and stirs freedom-loving Americans to get involved in the culture war that is raging all around them. Previously, she served as Senior Litigation Counsel to Liberty Counsel, where she was actively involved in efforts throughout the country to preserve traditional marriage through litigation, legislation, and constitutional amendments.
Gina Loudon, Ph.D., is a columnist, radio host, and frequent commentator on Fox News and Fox Business Channels. She has 2 Masters Degrees and a PhD in psychologically related fields. She is co-author of Ladies and Gentlemen: Why the Survival of our Republic Depends on the Revival of Honor. She is credited as one of the “100 Founding Members” of the Nationwide Tea Party movement, Founder of Arizona BUYcott, and originator of the field of Policology–the nexus of politics and psychology. When Gina has done her small part to help to save the Republic, she plans to sail around the world with her family (and maybe a camera crew!). She is the mother of 5, one with Down Syndrome by the miracle of adoption.
Yuri Mantilla, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Law and the Director of Global Initiatives and the LLM Program at Liberty University School of Law. Mantilla was formerly the International Government Affairs Director for Focus on the Family. His work there focused on communicating the organization’s pro-life and pro-family perspectives to government, church, and business leaders in foreign nations and the Hispanic community in the United States. Before joining Focus on the Family, Mantilla worked at the Family Research Council in Washington, D.C., as Counsel for International Human Rights and Hispanic Affairs. Mantilla specializes in international human rights law, and researches and writes on issues related to the law, bioethics and culture issues which affect the international community. His international experience and law background make him uniquely equipped to deal with a range of issues. As a missionary and professor with the International Institute for Christian Studies (IICS), he taught international law in China. In Latin America, he frequently gives television and radio interviews and speaks to government, church, and political leaders. Mantilla has been a guest on CNN International, Telemundo, Univision, and the BBC of London. On these network programs, he presented the Christian perspective on issues such as abortion, homosexuality, and human cloning. He was also host of a weekly radio talk show, Hispanic Family, a program that dealt with public policy issues from a pro-life and pro-family perspective.
Herman Martir; is the Senior Pastor of the Nations Worship Center in Fort Worth, TX, as well as the Director of HELP International and the Global Transformation Resource Group and the President of Emerging Leaders International. He is passionate about helping others draw nearer to God and also takes an active role in seeking and encouraging right leadership for the United States.
Dr. Jonathan Matusitz Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Nicholson School of Communication at the University of Central Florida (UCF). He studies globalization, culture, and terrorism. One of his particular emphases is the Islamist threat to America and the world. On top of having more than 100 academic publications and over 100 conference presentations, he taught at a NATO-affiliated military base in Belgium in 2010. Originally from Belgium himself, he migrated to the United States in 2000. In 2012, he was honored with a prestigious teaching award by the College of Sciences at UCF. Matusitz earned his doctorate in Communication from the University of Oklahoma in 2006.
Dr. Dwayne Mercer D.Min., is the Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church Oviedo. A native of Georgia, Dwayne and his wife Pam have ministered to First Baptist Oviedo since 1993. They have three children and three grandchildren. Dr. Mercer has served as the President of the Florida Baptist Convention and is an active board member for a number of Southern Baptist agencies. He is the host and featured speaker on The Winning Edge which airs locally on WTGL-TV45 Goodlife Broadcasting, and is the author of When God Says Yes as well as a contributor to several devotional books.
Harry Mihet, Esq., is Senior Litigation Counsel with Liberty Counsel, an international nonprofit litigation, education, and policy organization dedicated to advancing religious freedom, the sanctity of life, and the family. Harry grew up in communist Romania, where his father pastored seventeen, mostly underground churches. Harry and his entire family suffered great persecution. At the age of twelve, Harry participated in the Christmas Revolution of 1989, when a spiritually starved nation rose up and overthrew the oppressive Communist regime. Shortly thereafter, through a series of miracles, God brought Harry's family to the United States. Harry received his undergraduate degrees in Political Science and Criminology from the University of Florida. In 2002 he graduated magna cum laude from Duke University School of Law and spent the first six years of his legal career working for two of the largest law firms in the country, defending America's largest companies. Harry joined Liberty Counsel in September 2008, after sensing God's call to defend our most cherished freedoms. Since then, Harry has participated in many critical issues, including the defense and passage of Florida’s Marriage Amendment, and the defense of individuals charged with contempt for prayer. Harry and his wife, Tammie, raise their two young boys in Naples, Florida.
Dr. Tim Moore M.D., is a practicing heart surgeon in Central Florida. Raised in North Carolina, he attended UNC and received bachelor’s degrees in chemistry and psychology and played football with the Tarheels. He received his M.D. from the UNC School of Medicine and trained in general surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and in cardiac surgery at Emory in Atlanta. He is married to Carol, his lovely wife, and enjoys flying as a private pilot.
Jan Morgan is an Associated Press Award Winning Veteran television investigative journalist, now turned citizen activist for the Conservative Movement. Her conservative voice has generated a following of over 350,000 friends and subscribers on her website and three Facebook pages, which led to her being selected the first Facebook Conservative Rockstar by Red White and Blue News. During her 27 years as a television anchor and reporter, Jan’s work won Associated Press awards in spot news, documentary, and best continuing coverage. William J. Murray is the Chairman of the Religious Freedom Coalition in Washington, D.C. For more than two decades, Murray has been at the forefront of social conservatism. During the early 1980s he served as director of Freedom’s Friends, an organization which reached out to the victims of communism worldwide. In the 1990s he founded the first commercial Bible publishing company in the Soviet Union. For many years his organizations operated evangelistic tours to the Soviet Union for Christians. From his office in Washington, D.C., William J. Murray continues to work for the rights of Christians in America and persecuted Christians around the world. Under his guidance the Religious Freedom Coalition assists Palestinian Christian families and supports Christian schools in the West Bank. Rev. Dean Nelson joined Care Net in 2010 as Vice President of Underserved Outreach. In this position, he leads Care Net’s nationwide efforts to equip and train urban leaders and churches in the development of pregnancy centers in underserved communities. He is an executive leader with over twenty years of experience in ministry and over ten years in political activism on local, state. and national levels. Dean has previously served as the executive director for the Network of Politically Active Christians (NPAC) and as chairman for the Frederick Douglass Foundation (FDF). Under his leadership, both organizations informed thousands of faith leaders about relevant political developments and trained hundreds in Biblical worldview and public policy. In addition, he recruited and equipped pro-life Christian minorities to run for office on the local, state, and national levels. He has coordinated initiatives in multiple states to build coalitions between black and white Christians for the pro-life cause. He is the author of 21st Century Youth and numerous columns and articles. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Providence Foundation, the Virginia Christian Alliance, and the Frederick Douglass Foundation. Rev. Nelson is a licensed minister from Salem Baptist Church and an ordained pastor with Wellington Boone Ministries.

Dan Pennell is the CEO of WMtek. Dan serves as a Technology Consultant to the Freedom Federation, Military Culture Coalition, and is also a member of various coalition leadership counsels and coalitions based out of Washington D.C. His company, WMtek, works with some of the largest missions organizations in the world including Wycliffe, The Navigators, Word of Life and many others. Greg Quinlan is the President of Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays & Gays (PFOX), a non-profit organization providing outreach, education, and public awareness in support of families and the ex-gay community. As a former gay activist, Greg Quinlan promoted the homosexual agenda for over 10 years. As a Registered Nurse, Greg witnessed over 100 of his friends and acquaintances lose their lives to AIDS. Rev. Rick Ray is the Executive Pastor with First Baptist Oviedo, and has served in that capacity since 2007. Dr. William "Randy" Rebold is a 7-time, Emmy Award winning producer and director. Ryan and Shannan Rebold are graduates of Liberty University, and have been ministering together for over 12 years. They have both graduated with honors, and Ryan has also completed his Master’s Degree in Theology. Judith A. Reisman, Ph.D., is a Visiting Professor of Law at Liberty University School of Law. Nancy Schulze is the wife of 9-term former Congressman Dick Schulze (R-PA) and the Founder of the Republican Congressional Wives Speakers Bureau. She has spoken at The National Republican Women’s Summit; The Florida Republican Women’s Network; The North Carolina Conservative Women’s Forum; the Women Impacting the Nation Conference; the Global Pastors’ Wives Conference; and many national, state, and local prayer breakfast events. She has spoken on behalf of Presidential, U.S. Senate, House, and Gubernatorial candidates. Anita L. Staver, Esq., is President of Liberty Counsel. She is a member of the bars of the State of Florida and the District of Columbia. Her practice before the U.S. Supreme Court and numerous federal courts has resulted in more than 40 published opinions. She is admitted to practice before every federal court of appeals in the nation. Anita has been a guest on a variety of shows, including Hardball with Chris Matthews, and has been interviewed by other media, including Newsweek. Her articles have been published in many sources, including WorldNetDaily, Catholic Lane, American Daily Herald, and the Florida Baptist Witness. She co-authored two scholarly law review articles, and wrote for The Popular Encyclopedia of Christian Counseling. Anita was valedictorian of her class, graduating summa cum laude from Barry University School of Law in Orlando, Florida. After graduating with distinction from the University of Kentucky, she received a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Mathew D. Staver, Esq., is the Founder and Chairman of Liberty Counsel and also serves as Dean and Professor of Law at Liberty University School of Law and Chairman of Liberty Counsel Action. He has the highest AV rating given to attorneys by Martindale-Hubbell and is board certified in Appellate Practice. Mr. Staver holds a Bachelor’s, a Master’s, a Juris Doctor, Doctorate of Law and Doctorate of Divinity degrees. David Stewart is the Worship Pastor at Chilhowee Hills Baptist Church in Knoxville, TN. His passion is to lead all people in intentional, extravagant worship. As a gifted musician, soloist and musical director, he is committed to the local church and is dedicated to helping other churches find their balance. He lives in Knoxville with his wife Eden and daughter Eliana.
Patricia Sullivan is a Founder of the North Lake Tea Party. Patricia ran for U.S. Congress in 2010 and raised a “Patriot Army” of over 400 volunteers. They remain an active force in their community. Today, Patricia chairs The Tea Party Network, a network of 79 organizations across Florida. She is also the Lake County Republican State Committeewoman and a Director on the Board of the Florida FairTax Educational Association.
Cynthia E. Tompkins, Esq., is an Associate Professor of Law and Director of the Center for Prosecution at Liberty University School of Law. Previously, Tompkins taught at other colleges, served as legal counsel to executive level government officials and practiced both criminal and civil law for many years. As an attorney at the United States Department of Justice (DOJ), she worked closely with community relations officials, church pastors and church leadership, and community leaders, while serving on the DOJ National Church Arson Task Force. In Tompkins’ current faculty position at Liberty University School of Law, she enjoys the privilege of teaching law in fidelity to the Christian faith. Moreover, Tompkins’ passion for impacting the culture guides her research and writing, speaking engagements and training initiatives. Her current scholarship focuses on the effective use of deliberative dialogue to achieve racial harmony and understanding, and building a bridge between the racial and cultural differences that divide Americans. Her keen interest in facilitating meaningful and thoughtful dialogues in churches, academic institutions and other organizations, and in writing and speaking on these topics, was sparked by the unfortunate racial divide that infused the 2008 and 2012 Presidential elections. It is Tompkins’ hope that the presentations and discussions she is bringing to churches, schools and other organizations will make a difference by generating multiracial understanding and better communication.
Juan Torres M.D., is a physician who holds a great deal of respect for the history, Constitution and greatness of the United States of America. He immigrated to this country in the 1980s and, like millions of people, became an American citizen who achieved the American dream. He is the founder of the Latino American Tea Party, an organization created to inform, educate and unite Hispanics against the growing threat of Socialism and attacks to Freedom of Religion and the principles upon which this country was founded. Sue Trombino is the Founder of Woman Impacting the Nation (W.I.N.). Her passion for empowering people with God’s truth and her strong love of America are the principles on which the foundation of W.I.N. is built. W.I.N. seeks to inform, inspire, and initiate response from women of all backgrounds. W.I.N. provides resources, information, and biblical knowledge to anyone seeking to take personal responsibility for their freedoms and to be accountable to God’s word in their actions. Sue Trombino wants to embolden every Christian to be involved in the political process at any level. Sue was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and she proudly declares that she was able to choose to be an American citizen. Sue earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education and a minor in languages from Florida Southern College, where she played volleyball and basketball for four years. She and her husband Michael have been married twenty-five years and have one son, Michael. Growing up in Central and South America, Africa, Europe, and Asia gave Sue a deep appreciation and love for America and the Judeo-Christian principles upon which our country was founded. The Armed Services are also a source of great pride for Sue, as her father, mother and brother each served with honor.
Patrick A. Trueman Esq., is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Morality in Media, a national, not-for-profit organization established in 1962 to combat pornography and uphold decency standards in the media. Formerly, he served as Chief of the Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section, Criminal Division, U. S. Department of Justice, Washington, D.C., from 1988 to 1993. While there, he supervised the prosecution of child sex crimes, child pornography, and obscenity. He managed an office of twenty prosecutors and support staff and worked with the nation’s ninety-three United States Attorneys to initiate and coordinate federal prosecutions.
Leonard Tucker is one of the most talented and versatile performers of our day. He is also highly sought after in concert and studio work for his amazing vocal talent. In addition to performing with numerous Gospel, Pop, Rock and R & B Artists, Leonard has also had the awesome privilege of performing as part of the Promise Keepers Praise Band and for the Billy Graham and Franklin Graham Crusades throughout the United States. Leonard has come to be with us all the way from Oceanside, California, where he resides with his beautiful wife of 32 years, Denice. We know his ministry will be a blessing to all who attend this year’s Awakening.
